GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The NFL’s top 100 list has reached the top forty, with several notable Packers yet to be named.
According to the NFL Network, defensive end Rashan Gary was the first Packer to be ranked in this year’s list, which is voted on by current NFL players, finishing 50th overall in front of other notable pass rushers such as the Bears’ Montez Sweat, the Bengals’ Trey Hendrickson, the Texans’ Danielle Hunter, and the Dolphins’ Bradley Chubb.
Gary, who returned from a knee injury in 2023, gathered 9.0 sacks and two forced fumbles and signed a four-year, $107 million contract extension with the Packers back in October, including a $34,646,928 signing bonus. He will stay in Green Bay through the 2027 season.
Other Packers are still waiting for their names to be called, including quarterback Jordan Love, cornerback Jaire Alexander, running back Josh Jacobs, and defensive tackle Kenny Clark. Fans can watch the list be announced every weekday from July 22 to August 1, ten players at a time, on NFL+ and NFL Network. Friday, August 2nd, will see the announcement of the top 10.
