MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers topped the Miami Marlins 6-2 on Sunday at American Family Field.
It was Ryan Braun Day at the ballpark as the former Brewer star was added to the Brewers Walk of Fame.
The game also featured the return of the reigning National League Reliever of the Year. Devin Williams returned to action after a long rehab and pitched the ninth giving up one run on one hit with a walk and a K.
Jeff Junis picked up the win with two innings of scoreless relief.
The Brewers got a solo homer from Jackson Chourio and a two-run shot from Jake Bauers. Brice Turang had two hits and an RBI an also made two sterling defensive plays to get the Brewers out of a bases loaded jam in the 3rd inning.
The Brewers, now 60-45, will host Atlanta tonight…pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
