CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – The media scrubbing of negative coverage about Kamala Harris is breathtaking. Mainstream news sources should be ashamed, but they’re long beyond that.
Last week Axios reedited several of their news articles about Kamala Harris and our southern border. Their correction: they’ve removed references about Kamala Harris as ‘border czar’. They say that was a title that wasn’t bestowed upon her. Yet, of course, it was. The scrubbed version says she was asked to look into the root causes of migration. Not scrubbed yet: Kamala wants to recriminalize coming into the United States illegally. She wants illegal crossings to be a civil matter only.
All of the newspapers and TV stations in Minnesota have scrubbed that Kamala Harris tweeted a fundraising link for the Minnesota Freedom Fund. That’s the group of bailed-out Black Lives Matter protester Shawn Michael Tillman. He shot and killed a man after being released from prison. The Kamala-connection has been scrubbed away.
The mainstream media never mentions that, in her 20s, Kamala Harris was the girlfriend of 60-year-old Willie Brown while he was still married. A youthful fling with a powerful man? No, it’s more than that. He appointed her to her first jobs in politics as a lawyer for California’s medical and workers compensation board. Brown would be investigated by the FBI for the political appointments he gave out to his friends.
The non-partisan group GovTrac ranks members of congress as most liberal to most conservative. They ranked Harris as the most liberal senator; to the left of Bernie Sanders. GovTrack took down its own ranking list. It’s been screenshot and reposted by other groups.
Fox News Digital reports, based on White House logs, that Kamala Harris met with Joe Biden 80 times so far in 2024. Was he mentally sharp on all of those occasions? She’s said publicly said he was. She is the only person who can invoke the 25th Amendment if the President is no longer fit to serve. This will hardly be pointed out the next time Joe Biden struggles in public.
Now this is the work the media is doing, before Kamala has to defend her actual record. Friends like these sure make the job easier.
