GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – With the final practice before the Packers play inside of Lambeau Field for the first time this season for Family Night, two key players may miss the scrimmage due to injury.
According to Head Coach Matt LaFleur, running back Josh Jacobs (groin) and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hip) missed practice on Thursday due to fresh injuries. Cooper left practice on Wednesday and didn’t return while it’s unclear when Jacobs suffered his injury. The severity of the injuries remains unknown.
Other notable players recovering from injury as of Thursday include tight end Tucker Kraft (PUP, pec) and cornerback Carrington Valentine (hamstring). Josh Myers, a center, was also out on Thursday due to a personal issue.
