MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will likely be on Wisconsin’s presidential ballot in November.
The Kennedy campaign on Tuesday submitted just under 4,000 signatures to the Wisconsin Elections Commission in Madison, nearly double the 2,000 required.
State Director for the Kennedy campaign Karla Carpenter said more than 50 volunteers helped collect signatures to put the independent candidate on the ballot.
Kennedy joins independent Cornel West in turning in signatures ahead of Tuesday’s deadline to qualify for the presidential ballot.
If approved, they will join the nominees from the Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Constitution and Green parties on the November ballot.
