WAUSAU, Wi (WSAU) — The Wausau Woodchucks knocked off trhe Kenosha Kingfish twice on Tuesday night at Athletic Park. The scores were 6-1 and 16-6.
In game one Max Galvin homered and drove in two runs. Maz Soliz Jr also drove in two and Samuel Fischer one for the Chucks. Edwin Alicea and Brayden Marks combined giving up just the one run on six hits with 7 Ks.
In game two the Woodchucks scored in every inning except the first blowing the game open with six runs in the 4th.
The Chucks blasted five home runs in the game with Bryce Hubbard going deep twice and driving in five runs. Fischer homered and drove in three runs. Drew Berkland and Galvin also had long balls.
Wausau will host the Minnesota Mud Puppies tonight.
