MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Willy Adames cranked a three-run homer in the first inning and Brice Turang added a two-run shot in the second as the Milwaukee Brewers scored an 8-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Friday
Adames’ bomb brought home Jackson Chourio and Garrett Mitchell, who both reached base on a walk earlier in the inning.
Sal Frelick added an RBI triple to round out the scoring.
Milwaukee recorded seven hits by seven different players. Chourio and Mitchell were the only batters that didn’t record a hit.
Aaron Civale went 6.1 to earn the win, allowing five hits and two earned runs. Joel Payamps pitched a clean 9th to seal the win.
