STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Charges have been dismissed for three people previously accused of harboring a fugitive in connection with a standoff in Amherst last month.
Portage County District Attorney Cass Cousins says there isn’t enough evidence to bring Thomas Decarlo, Brandon Laux, and Brodee Volker to trial. All three have been released from jail and are no longer suspected of helping Jeffrey Miller hide out in the home while he was wanted in connection with a shooting incident in Sauk County.
