WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A missing teenager from Adams County has been found safe.
Christopher Smits Jr, 14, was reported missing on Thursday afternoon. He’d said he was trying to locate a campsite. He was found at 4pm Friday in Wisconsin Rapids. No further information has been released.
Smits was seen Thursday at Sherwood Lodge. He was on a bicycle at the time.
The Rome Police Department were assisted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office during this ongoing investigation.
