GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers got some good news on the injury front on Tuesday, with first-round pick Jordan Morgan returning to practice after injuring his shoulder last week.
According to the Packerswire, head coach Matt LaFleur told the media before practice that Morgan would be limited during practice on Tuesday and may only do individual drills depending on how his shoulder feels throughout the day.
Even though he started at left tackle throughout college, Morgan has been getting most of his work inside at guard during training camp. He was getting the starting right guard reps with the first team when he suffered the shoulder injury.
However, MarShawn Lloyd, a rookie running back from USC, hurt his hamstring in the first game of the preseason and will not practice on Tuesday; his expected return date is not yet known. The status of rookie linebackers Edgerrin Cooper and Ty’ron Hooper also remains unknown after they missed the game against Cleveland on Saturday.
