Northwoods League
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Madison Mallards ended one of the best seasons in Wausau Woodchucks history with an 8-3 win in Northwoods League playoff action Tuesday night at Athletic Park.
The Mallards banged out 15 hits in the victory including three each from Dawson Hokuf and Davis Hamilton. Hokuf had a homer and two RBIs.
Drew Berkland had a home run and drove in all three Woodchucks runs.
The Woodchucks went 50-19 this season.
The Northwoods League playoff semi-final pairings are set. Game ones tonight as Kalamazoo plays at Madison and La Crosse travels to St. Cloud.
