WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A former Green Bay Packer Offensive Lineman has been given a withheld sentence for charges of domestic abuse against his former wife.
Bill Ferrario will serve 18 months probation for domestic abuse, misdemeanor victim intimidation, and misdemeanor bail jumping. Conditions include absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol, maintaining full-time employment or school, and no violent or abusive contact with the victims.
Charges stem from multiple incidents at Ferrario’s Wausau home in January 2023. One call ended with officers taking him to a hotel for the night, only to be brought back again the next day for another incident.
In one case officers said they found him outside his home yelling at two women inside and throwing things at the garage. That’s when he was arrested for disorderly conduct and released on a $1500 signature bond with a full no-contact order against the victims.
Ferrario and his wife have since divorced.
The 45-year-old will also serve a month in the Marathon County jail for his second OWI and pay $1,500 in fines. He will also have his driver’s license revoked for 15 months and must install an ignition interlock device on all of his vehicles.
