MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers earned a split of their four game series with the LA Dodgers as they rallied for a 6-4 win on Thursday afternoon at American Family Field.
The Brewers took an early lead with three runs in the first inning on home runs from Jackson Chourio and William Contreras.
LA responded with two runs in the second and one in the third inning to tie the game. They took the lead with a run in the 6th.
The Brewers mounted their comeback in the 8th inning on RBIs from Willy Adames, Tyler Black and Rhys Hoskins.
Bryse Hudson picked up the win in relief and Devin Williams earned the save with a perfect 9th inning culminating with a strikeout of Shohei Otanhi to end the game.
Milwaukee, now 69-52, welcome the Cleveland Guardians in for a three game weekend series beginning tonight…pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
