MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers won their sixth game in a row with a 3-2 victory at St. Louis on Tuesday night.
Frankie Montas tossed seven inning of shutout ball to pick up the win. The Cardinals score two runs in the 8th off Nick Mears and Devin Williams worked out of a bases loaded jam in the 9th to preserve the win.
William Contreras had three hits and an RBI. Sal Frelick and Joey Ortiz drove in the other runs.
Milwaukee, now 73-52, will face the Cardinals again tonight…pre game show at 6:10 on WSAU.
