GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Packers have decided on one of the kickers they will surely be keeping this upcoming season.
According to a post on X from the team, rookie kicker Alex Hale was named as the team’s new player on the International Player Pathway program, while cutting pass rusher Kenneth Odumegwu, who they signed from Nigeria last season but did not make an appearance for the team in 2023.
Greg Joseph and Anders Carlson are now vying alongside Hale, an undrafted rookie from Oklahoma State, to be the team’s kicker. Hale is 14 for 20 on-field goal attempts in his first two weeks with the Green Bay Packers, including a strong day on Wednesday where he went three for four on-field goal attempts, matching Anders Carlson.
