ST. LOUIS, MO (WSAU) — The St. Louis Cardinals scored three times in the 7th inning and went on to a 3-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday afternoon at Busch Stadium.
Victor Scott Jr had three hits and scored a run that broke a 0-0 tie in the 7th.
Brewers reliever Nick Mears gave up all three runs. Milwaukee managed just three hits in the game.
The Brewers, now 73-54, remain 10 games up on the Cardinals in the Central Division and begin a weekend trip to Oakland tonight. Pre-game show at 8:05 on WSAU.
