TOWN OF CASSIAN, WI (WSAU) — A 66-year-old man is dead following an ATV crash in Oneida County.
First responders were called to Lakewood Road at about 6:15 Sunday night where they found an ATV failed to negotiate a curve and struck a telephone pole.
The crash happened near the intersection with Sand Lake Road.
The rider and lone occupant of the ATV died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The Wisconsin DNR will investigate the crash. Other responding agencies included Cassian First Responders, Oneida County EMS, and Minocqua Police.
