GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – A new analysis from betting site FlashPicks has found that Packers quarterback Jordan Love has the most searched jersey in the NFL so far in 2024.
The data was taken from January to August 2024 from Google Ads Keyword Planner from all 50 states across America. 384 of the most high-profile players and rookies were included in the study. Love has seen 462,700 Americans searching for his jersey this year, including being the most searched-for in Wisconsin as well as 17 other states like California (46,200), Florida (20,300), Minnesota (16,800), and Colorado (7,000).
With 877,940 searches this year for their player jerseys across America, the San Francisco 49ers lead the pack in total team searches, while due largely to Travis Kelce and the Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl victory, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked second in 2024 with 794,080 jersey searches.
This year, the Green Bay Packers rank fourth with 560,770 searches. Love’s popularity is further highlighted by the fact that he appears in 82.5% of the searches. Josh Jacobs (44,660) is the closest player to Love among Packers players, with over 418,000 fewer jersey searches.
According to Callum Broxton, Head of Operations at FlashPicks, who spoke about the rise in demand for Love’s jersey, “Jordan Love is clearly doing a lot right on the pitch with his recent lucrative contract extension, and it makes great commercial sense for the Packers too as fans all over America are demanding his jersey more than anyone else’s.”
The analysis’s top ten rounded out with Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, Raiders receiver Davante Adams, and Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud.
