GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is still keeping the door open for quarterback Jordan Love to play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
While speaking to Larry McCarren during an interview after practice on Thursday, LaFleur spoke about Love’s progress, saying, “I’d say it’s more day to day than anything. He’s going to continue to do everything he can to get back on the field as soon as possible. And we have great resources around here.”
“He’s going to do everything he can to get out there, and we’ll give him the week,” LaFleur continued.
Love is the only member of the Packers roster who is still awaiting medical clearance to return, and he was the only one who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. On Friday, the Packers will make available a final injury report, which is expected to show Love as questionable for Sunday’s home opener.
