GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers remain open to the idea that quarterback Jordan Love could play against the Colts on Sunday despite suffering a sprained MCL just a week ago.
According to an injury report filed on Friday afternoon by the team, Love has been listed as questionable for Sunday along with star receiver Jayden Reed and rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd.
Head coach Matt LaFleur spoke about Love after practice on Friday saying, “He’s doing good. He’s got a great attitude and he’s working hard and getting better every day.”
Malik Willis remains the expected starting quarterback, as Love is still predicted to miss several games based on most medical professionals’ opinions on how a sprained MCL heals, but fans won’t likely know if he’ll be able to go or not until ninety minutes before kickoff on Sunday when the team officially announces their inactive players for the week.
