APPLETON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – This week, Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Wisconsin.
According to the Harris-Walz campaign, Vice President Harris will campaign on Thursday in the Fox Valley. The campaign did not clarify where the event would be and what she would be discussing.
This will be her fifth trip to Wisconsin since announcing her presidential candidacy in July. Cook Political reports that Harris now leads former President Trump in Wisconsin by two percentage points. In the meantime, Trump leads Harris by 1.1 percent in the most recent Trafalgar Group poll conducted in the Badger State.
The former President was campaigning in Wisconsin on Tuesday, making stops in both Milwaukee and Waunakee to talk to voters about issues facing the U.S. economy as well as the impact illegal immigration is having on Wisconsin.
