MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a 25-year-old Wausau woman who was arrested on suspicion of an OWI and marijuana-related charges after a traffic stop in the Town of Scott.
It started with a report of an erratic driver on US Highway 51 North near mile marker 205. When officers pulled her over, they immediately noticed signs of impairment and put her through a field sobriety test.
She was immediately arrested on suspicion of OWI and officers called for a K9 search of her vehicle. That turned up marijuana.
The driver was later identified as Hannah Siegel. Court records show she is facing a misdemeanor for possession of THC. She was released on bond and will return to court on November 12th.
Siegel, who has no listed address, has prior convictions in Marathon County for theft of movable property and possession of methamphetamine. The latter charge brought her a withheld sentence for 3 years of probation.
