MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — A Lincoln County man has been sentenced after reaching a plea deal covering seven open cases and multiple complaints.
Raymond Hanson pled guilty to third and fourth OWIs and will serve 105 days in the Lincoln County Jail. A judge did grant him Huber privileges. He will also have his driver’s license revoked for two years and must pay nearly $4,000 in fines.
In exchange for the plea charges associated with a handful of other counts were dismissed but read into the record.
Hanson will also pay $250 restitution to the High Grounds Christmas Tree Farm after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property. That charge stems from an incident last November when Hanson got his vehicle stuck in an area near Country Road G and Altenburger Drive. Further investigation revealed that he had been trying to steal a tree before his vehicle was hung up.
The 52-year-old was given credit for two days already served in jail.
