WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW-WSAU) — Over 1,000 people flocked to downtown Wausau for the annual Harvest Fest on Saturday morning.
More than 1,400 pumpkins were set out for kids 12 and under to take home for free.
There was a petting zoo featuring goats, bunnies, and chicks. Kids were encouraged to show up in costume and rewarded with candy and other treats for their efforts.
Newsline 9’s Sadie Fisher and Jake Sennholz joined in the festivities. They took part in the celebrity pumpkin carving contest.
