KRONENWETTER, WI (WSAU) — A Kronenwetter Trustee has resigned.
Cindy Lee Buchkowski-Hoffmann submitted her resignation over the weekend, creating a vacancy on the seven-person board. According to a press release from the village, that vacancy will be filled through an application process.
Buchkowski-Hoffmann was elected to the Board of Trustees last April. Her term was set to expire in April 2026. The selected candidate will serve the remainder of her term with the option to run for re-election in two years.
Those interested in serving should submit their applications by November 7th. The six remaining Village Board members will review the applications in open session, and then vote one of the qualified candidates into the seat.
