GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers are expecting to have extra help on offense on Sunday as two of their top receivers appear to be on track to play against the Cardinals.
According to Packers.com reporter Mike Spofford, both Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are practicing on Friday for the third straight day after missing last week’s game against the Rams due to injury and suspension giving the team and fans reason to believe that the receivers will be active on Sunday.
Doubs hasn’t taken questions from reporters this week since returning from suspension, and the team hasn’t indicated that the playbook has or will change to put more focus on Doubs going forward.
Tight end Tucker Kraft was added to the injury report on Thursday but practiced on Friday in a red jersey due to issues with a shoulder injury he suffered earlier in the season. Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and tight end Luke Musgrave are the only players not practicing on Friday, as the team expects Musgrave to be placed on IR due to an ankle injury.
