PISCATAWAY, NJ (WSAU) – The Badgers football team rolled to a second-straight Big Ten win, dominating Rutgers 42-7.
“The team is getting better,” coach Luke Fickell said after the win. “It’s exciting, obviously, to win, but it’s exciting to see things continue to grow in front of your own face. And that’s where to me, I’m happy and proud as anything.”
Rutgers, which got off to a 4-0 start, has now lost two-in-a-row.
Sophomore quarterback Braedyn Locke was 20-of-28 for 240 yards and a touchdown. Tawee Walker ran for a career-high 198 yards.
The Badgers jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, and dominated both sides of the ball throughout the game.
Wisconsin has another road game next week at Northwestern. The game kicked off at 11am CT on Saturday.
