TIGERTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A Tigerton man was indicted by a federal grand jury alleging the 43-year-old man assaulted a federal employee with a shotgun.
The indictment alleges on September 24, Benjamin Loos, 43, used a shotgun to “forcibly assault” a female postal carrier while she was working. Loos faces 20 years in prison and a $250,000 maximum fine, according to a news release from U.S. Department of Justice District Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Wisconsin.
The case was investigated by Shawano County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
Jobs is scheduled for trial in December. Until then he’s been ordered to maintain sobriety and will not be allowed to possess any firearms.
