GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Vice President Kamala Harris will be returning to the Badger State this week as her former president Trump continues to blitz swing states ahead of election day.
According to the Harris campaign, the vice president will be making stops in Green Bay, Milwaukee, and La Crosse on Thursday while the location of the events remains to be determined. This visit will mark Harris’ sixth visit to Wisconsin since she took over the Democratic ticket from President Biden in July.
Wisconsin has been the center of the political world in recent months, as former president Trump has also made several stops in Wisconsin in recent weeks, including in the Democratic stronghold of Dane County as well as in both Juneau and Mosinee. His events this week will include a stop in Oaks, Pennsylvania, on Monday for a town hall and a rally in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday evening.
As it currently stands, the latest poll from CBS News shows the race for the White House tied in Wisconsin, while Arizona, North Carolina, and Georgia sit in Trump’s column and Nevada and Michigan are in Harris’ column. Meanwhile, the latest Fabrizo Lee and GBAO poll for the Wall Street Journal also shows Trump and Harris tied in Wisconsin.
