MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) – Volunteers are needed to assist with setting up the always popular Marshfield Rotary Winter Wonderland before opening day just over a month away.
According to a post on Facebook by the organization, the attraction located at Wildwood Park and Zoo in Marshfield is looking for volunteers 12 and older, regardless of experience, to help with the setup on Saturday, October 19, and Saturday, October 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. before opening day on November 29 and thousands of visitors can see the magical light show this holiday season.
Organizers state that volunteers will be offered flexible hours once the season begins, and a variety of tasks for groups of all sizes will be provided to all who can help this winter.
This year will mark the attraction’s 19th season and has provided over 900,000 food items to food pantries in Marshfield and the surrounding area since opening back in 2006.
