TOWN OF LAC du FLAMBEAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A head-on crash between two dirtbikes has left one person dead.
Investigators say it happened Friday evening in the Vilas County Town of Lac du Flambeau. WAOW TV reports that the bikes were traveling in different directions on County Road H.
The collision left one person dead at the scene and two others hospitalized. One of the victims was taken to Howard Young Medical Center and then airlifted to Aspirus Wausau. There’s been no update on their condition.
The third victim was treated for minor injuries.
Names of those involved have not been released.
