WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — One person has died and another is hospitalized after a van versus motorcycle crash in the City of Wausau.
It happened on Sunday at about 4:30 PM near the intersection of South 3rd Avenue and Rosecrans. The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as 49-year-old Douglas Narlock. He died at the scene.
His 44-year-old passenger was taken to Aspirus Wausau for her injuries. Her name has not been released, and there has been no update on her condition.
There were five people in the van at the time. None of them were injured.
The Wausau Police Department is investigating the crash. No further information, including whether alcohol or speed were factors, has been released.
