WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Several high school hockey players from Central Wisconsin have earned All-State honors for the past season.
For the girls, Gabi Heuser & Ava Rode of the Central Wisconsin Storm and Jenna Jones of the Wisconsin Valley Union were named to the First Team. Jaden Yirkovsky of the Storm was named to the Second Team.
Players receiving Honorable mention include Sophie Bohlin & Michaela Gerum of the Storm
For the boys, Cooper DePuydt & Julian Scalcucci of Wausau West, Griffin Bunnell of DC Everest, Jonah Dickens & Austin Lamer of Tomahawk and Grady Miller, Grant Molski and Jackson Schroeder of Stevens Point earned First Team honors.
Carson Somers, Jerome Poirier, & Mason Dillingham of Stevens Point, Eli Kassler & Owen Dickman of Antigo, Jett Reilly of Tomahawk were named to the Second Team.
Players receiving Honorable Mention include Carter Drexler, Eric Cisweski & Logan Ostricki of Stevens Point, Chase Crass, Shea Jones & Owen Pergolski of Wausau West, Cole Van Slyke of DC Everest, Elliot Yirkovsky & Tyler Baars of Mosinee, Brayden Lamer & Trevor Seliskar of Tomahawk and Tyson Vibraum of Wisconsin Rapids.
