WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — An accident involving a tanker carrying milk closed a portion of Interstate 39 near Kronenwetter on Thursday morning.
According to a Wisconsin State Patrol incident report, the incident closed the right southbound lane of traffic near the Maple Ridge Road intersection at about 5:45 AM. All lanes were reopened by 9:15 AM.
No further information has been released regarding the incident. Wausau Pilot and Review reports that the driver of the truck had to be extracted from the vehicle.
