WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Last season, 1200 fans showed up for Wausau’s softball team, Ignite. The team’s General Manager, Brianne Barta, says she was happy with the turnout.
“There was a lot of preparation that went into welcoming the team this last summer, and it all just came together.”
“It was really great to see such a big turnout for that first game. Over the course of the season, we had over 9,000 fans attend the home games throughout the season.”
January is when the new schedule will be available, and this coming season will have new and exciting activities for fans. More information will be on the Northwoods League Website.
