STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A 400-year-old home was lifted from its foundation this morning.
The home is being moved from 1656 Main Street to 1641 Main Street, about 400 feet. The move clears the way for an added turn lane on nearby Division Street, which is due for reconstruction in the next few years.
The process has closed a portion of Main Street between Division and Rogers. That’s expected to last through Friday, according to the city.
