WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Sheboygan man accused of sexually assaulting a Wausau woman at knifepoint entered a not guilty plea to the charges.
Terrell Poe is accused of forcing himself on the unidentified victim back in May. The woman reported the incident, then submitted to a sexual assault examination. Officers caught up to Poe a few days later, and charges were formally filed in mid-June.
Arresting officers noted that the 29-year-old threatened to stab them, adding a felony count of threatening an officer to the charges. All told, he faces more than 60 years in prison on felony counts of sexual assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening an officer.
He also faces misdemeanors for carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing an officer.
