WAUSAU, WI — (WSAU-WAOW) – There were thousands of runners in terrible weather for united way’s Turkey Trot, Thanksgiving Day.
Last year organizers say they raised $86,000 and had over 2,200 participants.
The event is the largest fundraiser for the Hunger Coalition. United Way officials sat 100% of registration fees went to the cause.
