NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) – The return of Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn’t enough. The Bucks lost their 6th straight game, falling to the Knicks in New York 118-109.
Giannis had been out for two weeks with a groin injury. He scored 30m had 15 rebounds and 8 assists.
Jalen Brunson scored 37 points and the Knicks, who advanced to the knockout round of the NBA Cup. The Bucks were eliminated from tournament play with a 2-2 record in the group round.
The Bucks play the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
