WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids has announced a new Associate’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence.
The program includes a mix of in-person and online courses focused on optimizing AI tools to help businesses “work smarter and use data responsibly and effectively to drive innovation,” according to a press release from the school.
The 63-credit program comes through a collaboration with Waukesha County Technical College.
“We are so excited to bring this new, cutting-edge AI and data program to our communities,” she said. “AI is quickly transforming every industry, and this is an ideal way for people to ride that wave to a rewarding career with high pay. Partnering with WCTC to offer this quality program gives students the perfect blend of small-college support from Mid-State and WCTC’s AI expertise,” said Trina Kloehn, dean of Mid-State’s Schools of Business & IT and Hospitality program.
Enrollment is underway, with the Spring semester scheduled to begin on January 26th.
