Jute T. Handrick, 35, was sentenced to two years in prison followed by two years of extended release, after pleading “no contest” to a charge of criminal damage to religious property in two separate cases.
The charges were filed on August 22 and October 7, 2025.
According to a complaint filed in August, a caller reported someone broke several windows and glass doors at a church at 4701 Industrial Park Road.
Officers also found a handwritten note that said, “Tell Jesus I said f— you and who U with, Amen.” It was signed “Love Jute.”
Officers say Handrick eventually admitted to the vandalism, though he pleaded “not guilty”, and eventually “no contest” in court.
