WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Communities across Central Wisconsin are declaring Snow Emergencies as a massive winter storm prepares to move through the region.
Vehicles parked on the street in these communities will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
Below is a running list of communities and the duration of their emergency:
- Wausau- from 9 PM Saturday to 6 PM Monday
- Stevens Point- from 12:01 AM Sunday to Noon Monday
- Wisconsin Rapids- from 12 AM Sunday to 7 AM Tuesday
- Mosinee – from 12 AM Sunday to 6 PM Monday
- Nekoosa- from 12 AM Saturday to 7 PM Tuesday
- Weston- from 9 PM Saturday to 6 PM Monday
- Schofield- from 9 PM Saturday to 6 PM Monday
- Merrill- from 12 AM Sunday to 12 PM Monday
- Marshfield- from 12:01 AM Sunday to 11:59 PM Monday
- Rib Mountain- from 6 PM Saturday to 12 PM Monday
- Rhinelander- from 4 PM Saturday to 4 PM Monday
- Marathon City- from 1 AM Sunday to 6 PM Monday
- Plover- from 12 AM Sunday to 3 PM Tuesday
- Grand Rapids- from 5 PM Saturday to 5 PM Monday
