MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers 6-game losing streak is over.
Milwaukee pushed across two runs in the 8th inning to beat the Blue Jays, 2-1.
During the rally William Contraras was the only Brewers to hit the ball out of the infield. The Brewers benefitted from an infield hit and an error in the inning. The go-ahead run came in from third on Brice Turang’s ground out.
Starting pitcher Chad Patrick worked into the seventh inning allowing just 1 run on 3 hits.
The Brewers go for the series win this afternoon against the Blue Jays. Game coverage begins at 12:05pm on WSAU. Patrick Corbin will pitch for Milwaukee.
