WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Mayor Doug Diny has announced Wausau’s new City Clerk.
Rachel Brown will take over the post on Tuesday, May 26th. Mayor Diny says she has a skill set that will serve the position well.
“Ms. Brown has a strong background in regulatory compliance, records management, and team leadership which makes her an outstanding choice. I have every confidence that she will serve the City of Wausau with professionalism, integrity, and dedication to transparent government,” said Diny via a press release.
Brown has more than 17 years of service in “progressively responsible leadership experience in regulatory compliance, records management, statutory reporting, policy development, and multi-department operations,” most of which comes from the healthcare field.
The position was opend by the departure of Kaitlyn Bernarde, who has accecpted a similar position in Madison.
