TOWN OF NORRIE, WI (WSAU) – A 57-year-old man was found dead from a stab wound, leading to the arrest of his brother for first-degree reckless homicide last weekend.
Deputies arrived at the scene in the Town of Norrie at 12:30 AM Sunday after receiving a 911 call reporting a stabbing. They found Thomas Anker with a stab wound and began life-saving measures, but he died at the scene
The victim’s brother, 58-year-old Timothy Anker, was arrested at the home and booked into the Marathon County Jail on a charge of first-degree reckless homicide.
Investigators are calling the incident an act of domestic violence, and there is no danger to the public. Timothy is being held without bond in the Marathon County Jail; court action against him is pending.
No further information has been released, including a potential motive.
