WAUTOMA, WI (WSAU) — The man accused of killing his grandmother in Wisconsin, then fleeing to Utah, was in court on Monday.
Randy Jenks was bound over for trial during the appearance. An attorney also entered a plea of not guilty by mental disease or defect on his behalf. The judge then ordered a mental health evaluation for the 36-year-old.
Jenks is accused of stabbing Patricia Glenn, who was found dead in her home during a welfare check. Police caught up to him in Ogden, Utah, later that week.
Investigators said they found a bloody knife at the home where he was staying.
He is being held in the Waushara County Jail on a $2 million cash bond. Further court action is scheduled for June 24th.
