MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – Brice Turang’s 9th inning home run completed a sweep of the Yankees, 4-3.
David Bednar surrendered the walk-off homer with two outs, after striking out Joey Ortiz and Jackson Churio to open the frame.
The win puts the Brewers 6-games above .500 – their high-water mark for the season. The Brewers are still 3 1/2 games behind the Cubs in the NL Central.
The loss dropped the Yankees into second place in the AL East.
The Brewers are off on Monday, and host the Padres on Tuesday night.
