SCHOFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Greenheck Group Employees raised funds and awareness for mental health resources in May through a “Wear Green Fundraiser.”
Employees purchased 433 custom-designed shirts, with proceeds benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The Greenheck Group Wellness Team then matched those donations.
A special donation match through NAMI brought the total impact to $8,660.
“At Greenheck Group, supporting mental health is more than a one-month initiative — it is a commitment to fostering a culture where employees and communities feel supported, connected, and empowered. We remain dedicated to helping break stigmas, encourage open dialogue, and invest in organizations like NAMI that provide critical resources and support to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges,” said Wellness Team Co-Chair Kayla O’Brien.
May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month.
