MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — A Marathon City woman is accused of trying to have a man killed.
Investigators say Angela Volm made threatening statements towards a man. She’s then accused of reaching out to a third person, asking them to make the victim “disappear.”
According to the third person, Volm also asked them to train her on how to use a firearm, saying she would find someone to kill the victim or she would do it herself.
The 45-year-old appeared in court on Tuesday and was given a $100,000 bond with several terms, including a no-contact order with the alleged victim or the third-party witness and absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol.
Further court action is scheduled for June 29th.
