CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – Until recently, I’d never heard of Hasan Piker.
He’s a far-left political commentator on Twitch. I’d never heard of Twitch either, until recently.
He has 3.1-million followers and lives in a $2.7-million home in Hollywood – so he’s doing better than me.
Among his greatest hits:
He’s referred to white people as “crackers”.
He said that America deserved 9-11. He has since said that his comments were satirical.
He is blatantly anti Israel; he refers to Israel as occupiers. He publicized the manifesto of Jewish Museum shooter Elias Rodriguez.
He suggests that America has much to learn from communist China.
His political heroes: Bernie Sanders and Zohran Mandani.
So… who from Wisconsin appeared on Hasan Piker’s livestream? None other than crazy-liberal Francesca Hong. She even invited him to come to Wisconsin and campaign with her.
So that begs a few questions for Francesa. Which is his policies do you agree with? Did we deserve 9-11? Is Israel an apartheid state? Do we have much to learn from China? Are Bernie and the Zoltan your political heroes? Am I a “cracker”?
I disagree that a candidate for office automatically shares all of the political views of people they share a stage with. But it’s different when you appear on their video platforms and invite them into your campaign. He has raised money for her.
It is a fair question for Francesca Hong: Just how far left are you? The answer lies far outside the political mainstream.
